Going to the spring game, the first of the year! I have my red Nebraska shirt, sleeveless because it is suppose to be in the 70's and Heath has his hat. We are meeting a because the roads and parking will be near impossible! I have been told that when it is game day the stadium is the STATE's third largest city! I was also told you can hear the roar of the fans all the way across town!
We are so excited! I will be taking pictures so stay tuned!

I did not know that Nebraska still had a football team! We use to have some great family gatherings in Colroado in the days that Nebraska and Oklahoma were bitter rivalaries. I can remember my nephew Steve having to push a peanut across the floor of the living room with his nose becvause he bet his brother Dave that Oklahoma would win. Nebraska won the title that year, Terrel Davis, perhaps one of their best running backs in the history of the school, but never played professional ball, he did play inthe Canadian league and I beleive one year in the NFL. He was never drafted because he was to small but at4 the time he broke allof the Nebraska records. Still favor the Cornhuskers. Have fun and enjoy.
Sound like an exciting time. Hockey is, really, the only "big games" here. Do the vendors really THROW hot dogs? Looking for pics.
